We are a small and friendly Pre-school. In 2016 we moved into new premises at the Cherry Tree Academy Junior School, after moving from the Village Hall where the Pre-school had been running for over 40 years. We are now welcoming new children of parents, who themselves came to the preschool when they were children.
We are open from: 8.30am-3.00pm Weekdays (Term Time only).
We are OFSTED registered and our staff are all either fully qualified or working towards being qualified. We take children from the age of 2 years. (They don't have to be dry; nappy changing facilities are available).
We are registered to provide free places for all 3 and 4 year olds (15 hours per week) We are also able to offer 3 and 4 year old extended 30 hour funding for families who are eligible.
We aim to provide a warm, caring, fun atmosphere where your child can play, socialise and learn to value other children and adults. They can learn in a safe environment, belong and contribute to a strong community and work in close partnership with parents and carers . We place a strong emphasis on 'play with purpose'.
We have a maximum of 25 Children and we have four members of staff, plus bank staff and volunteers.
We are a member of the Norfolk Years Support Network.

Parents and children are welcome to view the pre-school during any session, Please make an appointment on 07950753877 as staff ratio will need to be arranged.

We are continuing to take precautions for Covid in the setting. Please can you help? If your child is displaying symptoms of Coronavirus please do not bring them to the setting, please follow government guidlines on getting a PCR test and self isolation.
We understand children all have mild colds at this time of year, but if they have more severe symptoms, please keep them off. If they have had sickness or diarrhoea, they must stay off for 2 days after the last episode.
We are fundraising this summer! If you can help either by giving a little time, or donations for the tombola please let us know. We are doing Shouldham fete on 14th August, Marham Fun Day on 22nd August, and Families Day on 25th August. Thank you!
