Marham Village Preschool is run as a non-profit charity. The day to day running costs of the preschool are quite high, so we often have to resort to fundraising for larger purchases. So far, since we moved here in 2016 we have managed to raise enough money to install a new kitchen, office, astro turf and sand area. We would like to thank everyone who has helped us raise the money. The next thing we are raising money for is a sun shelter, as our playground is a sun trap with nowhere to escape the heat. We like to spend a lot of time outside, so would like to maximise use for all times of year. We are also desperate for storage, so will be trying to purchase a shed for this purpose.
2024
With a lot of fundraising, and massive help from Ed of EM Homes, we managed to get our shed! Ed donated all the materials and did a great deal on the labour. Thanks Ed!
We also received a rewilding grant for our front garden. Our Chairperson Nettie and her husband Lal have done so much work making it look good with help from Colin and Richard to put up the fence. It looks so much better now. Thanks everyone!
Christmas Raffle 2022
We made over £800, so many thanks to everyone who donated prizes and bought tickets!
This year, we are attending lots of local fetes with our book stall. We are alwyas collecting books for this; all books are very gratefully received, children's books, adults books, fiction, non-fiction, anything goes. Thank you!
Christmas Raffle 2021
We would like to thank everyone who helped out with our Christmas raffle. We had so much support from everyone. If you donated a prize, helped sell tickets, or bought some, thank you! We made £1000 which will help us enormously. We will keep you updated on what we spend it on.
Past Fundraisers
Throughout the last few years, we have had stalls at Marham Fun Day, Shouldham Fete, Marham Families Day and Hilgay Raft Race. We also held an 80s disco at Marham Bowls Club, regular bingo sessions, a lucky balls game and a pub quiz. We are always open to suggestions for further activities.
