Manager - Julie Walkey
Julie has been working at the preschool since 2008. After two of her own children attended the preschool, she started helping out as a volunteer until starting work as a one-to-one helper. She became Deputy at the end of 2015 and moved into the manager's position in 2018.
Julie's qualifications include:

Early Years Practitioner and Admin - Katy Walkey
Katy attended the pre-school as a pupil in 2000/2001 and was always a regular volunteer helping in the setting and at fundraising events. In Jan 2019 Katy became a member of bank staff and then joined us as a permanent member of staff in 2021.
Katy passed her NVQ Level 3 in Early Years in 2021 so is now a fully qualified Early Years Practitioner.

Early Years Practitioner - Charlotte Porter
Charlotte was one of our regular bank staff members before she became permanent. She is working towards her level three childcare qualification. Charlotte is always up for helping out at fundraising events and all of the children love her.
It will be lovely to have Charlotte as a full time member of staff.
Child Protection
Staff are trained in child protection procedures, and Prevent Duty. The wellbeing of your child and his/her family is of primary importance and should staff have concerns over your child's
wellbeing they will usually be discussed with you. However should staff have serious concerns social services will be contacted.
